Tues 5th June Horseracing Pointers – Leicester & Redcar

No Pointers yesterday, but on Sunday there were 5 winners from 9 races: 7/1, 7/1 (rule 4), 11/2, 9/4, 11/8, plus 3 2nds.

Won = 55%, Place = 50%

LEICESTER (Good to Soft)

3.15 (Class 4) 11 horses are untried on the Ground, but Dubious Escapade (6/1) has won & placed from 2 tries, won at Distance, 60% Place in handicaps.  Amadeus Wolfe Tone (12/1) won last 2 at Distance, won 1-2 handicaps.

3.50 (Class 6 Claimer) Only 2 of the 10 have ever won a race, Outlaw Torn (5/2) winning 2, and only Distance winner.

4.20 (Class 6) Another bad race, only 3 of the 17 have won.  Our Phylli Vera (4/1) won and placed in 2 handicaps.  Both won at Class.

4.55 (Class 6) Another case of only 3 of the 17 have ever won.  Cool Hand Luke (14/1) won & placed at Distance & won at Class 5.  Remember Rocky (7/1) the only handicap winner (at the Class).  Kingscombe (14/1) won at the Class.

5.25 (Class 5) Rylee Mooch (14/1) placed 2-3 on Ground.  Mata Hari Blue (4/1) won last 2 at Distance, the only Course winner and 60% Place there.

REDCAR (Good to Firm)

2.35 (Class 6) Thrust Control (25/1) 44% win on Ground, 1 of only 3 to win at Distance, Course winner.  Maggie Mey (6/1) won 2-3 at Course.  Both won at Class and higher Class.

3.10 (Class 5) Whitby Jet (4/1) won & placed last twice on Ground, 62% Place in handicaps & won at Class.  Count Bertoni (16/1) won & placed from two runs at the Distance, won on Ground & won 2 of last 3 at Class.  I Confess (8/1) won & 84% Place at Distance, won on Ground & won at Class.  Tartan Gunna (9/1) won & 82% Place at Class, also won at higher Classes.

3.45 (Class 4) Eland Ally (14/1) won once and 100% Place from 6 runs on G-F, won at Distance, 75% Place in handicaps.  Swendab (16/1) won last 4 on Ground, won last 3 at Distance, won 3 of last 4 handicaps & won at Class.  Bedloe´s Island (9/2) won & 59% Place at Distance, won 2 of last 3 on G-F, 53% Place in handicaps, won last 2 at Course & won at Class 3.

4.50 (Class 5) Dutch Rose (13/8) won last 2 on Ground, won & placed at Distance, won 1-1 in Handicaps, won & placed at Class.  Fifteentwo (10/1) won 1-1 on Ground, won 1-2 at Distance.  Dancheur (6/1) won & placed from two runs at the Class.

Friday 13th April Horseracing Aintree, Leicester

Each Way chance at LEICESTER:
A horse with form of: 434300, won’t inspire much confidence for today,
but when you take into account that at Leicester only that form changes to: 111, it gains a lot more appeal.
He will be fit as he’s been running on the All Weather this Winter, and also in Class 4 races, from 15 races he has a 50% place record.
I’ve actually been waiting for him to run again at Leicester, for the fact that he always wins here.  He was 16/1 last night, I left until this morning to see if any money came for him, and I took 14/1, which has since gone to 12/1 at Paddy Power.
Entirely up to you if you take the chance, but the horse is: TEVEZ, 3.30pm Leicester.

Every Horse at AINTREE today analysed to see their winning form on Good Ground.

This is only a Guide, and the ground is only 1 factor to take into account, but from the highlighted horses on yesterday’s blog 4 won and one placed at 25/1, from 7 races.

The Going at Aintree today is a bit unclear I think as the Grand National course is still good to soft, and both courses have been watered overnight, also the bends have been moved in 4 yards to provide fresh ground, and it was drying out during yesterday’s racing, but the official going on the Mildmay – Chase/Hurdle is: Good, Good to Soft in places, so I will base today’s runner stats on Good ground only.
